I met somebody who makes me want to love
Somebody who makes me want to live
I never thought that would ever happen again
Thought that once you got lost you were never to be found
Turns out love isn’t like a ghost, it truly exists
I was wrong, I was finally looked upon
With you darkness becomes light
Grey becomes white
Your presence brightens up my day
Protects me from the hurt
Your smile comforts me, even from far away
Warms me up, no matter the distance
You turn my fears into curiosity
My weaknesses into strengths
I finally filled that empty space in my eyes
Filled that gaping hole in my chest
For once all my pieces are joined
All my doubts have detached
This can only have a good ending
Let’s finish this with you and me.
