All around me there’s familiar faces, worn out places, worn out faces
Bright and early for their daily races, going nowhere, just going nowhere
Their tears are filling up their glasses, no expression, with no expression
I hide my head I want to drown my sorrow, no tomorrow, there’s no tomorrow
And I find it kind of funny, I just find it kind of sad
The dreams in which I’m dying are the best I’ve ever had
I find it hard to tell you, I find it hard to take
When people run in circles it’s just a crazy mad world
And children are waiting for the day they feel good, Happy Birthday, singing Happy birthday
Made us feel that every child should, sit and listen, just sit and listen
I went the first time to school I was very nervous, no one knew me
Asked the teacher and told him what’s my lesson, look right through me, plz look
right through me
He told life isn’t nothing but an obsession, just show me, plz just show me
He told me that we are just in circles spinning
And the devil keeps grinning and grinning
And keeps thinking about the war that he’s winning
He told son I know how you’re feeling today
It’s like you’re stuck and there’s only one man on that way
But he just keeps smiling and say hey hey see ya soon !
He told me don’t wait somebody to come around
Just put your feet on the ground, don’t let yourself down, or you’ll be down….
